Overview

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19

Jesus' mission is our mission: to go and make disciples and reach the ends of the earth for His glory, making His name known.

God has called each of us as Christians to be missionaries here in the city of Vancouver, reaching our colleagues, friends, family, and neighbours with the good news of Jesus.

But God also calls us to reach all nations, or to global missions. There are many unreached nations around the world that need to hear about Jesus. Westside is committed to partnering with international organizations that equip and serve communities. We partner through prayer and short-term missions.

International Partnerships

India

India is one of the most unreached countries in the world. With a population of over a billion people, only a fraction have heard the good news of Jesus. Child of Mine is an agency that works in North India to build and strengthen the church while providing for people's physical and daily needs. More information about Child of Mine and their monthly sponsorship program is located here

Mexico

Mexico is often associated with sunny beach vacations, but the great need for the Gospel is often overlooked. While the nation is close to 95% Catholic, this is often mixed with various folk beliefs and practices. In the last decade, millions have been abandoning the faith, disillusioned by how the expression of faith bears little connection to the issues of the culture. Westside has partnered with Multiply, the mission branch of the MB Church in North America, to support their work in Guadalajara, Mexico.

West Africa

Korle-Bu Neuroscience Foundation (KBNF) is a Canadian charity with a vision to strengthen healthcare systems in West Africa, with a special emphasis on brain and spine diseases and injuries. The governments of West Africa are severely under-resourced. There are severe shortages of critical medical supplies and equipment in hospitals. More information about KBNF is located here.
