Course Overview
Welcome to Christian Story! This nine-week Bible Overview course was written by Northview Church, adapted from a 27-week course by St. Helen's Bishopsgate church in London, England.
The class is designed to provide people with a framework for understanding how all 66 books of the Bible fit together into one overarching narrative: the Christian Story.
The Christian Story class is open to all adults at any stage of life, at any level of Bible knowledge, and at any place in your Christian faith or spiritual journey. No prior Bible study experience is necessary—wherever you are in your journey, you are welcome!
Class Details: Each lesson will consist of a brief introduction to the topic of the week, and several pages of scripture passages and questions to work through independently prior to our group meeting. We will not attempt to read through the entire Bible in nine weeks but will direct you to texts which represent key moments in the story. As you become familiar with these landmarks in the overarching narrative, you will understand how other sections of the Bible fit into the framework of the Christian Story.
