Billy Graham has been quoted as saying that “if a person gets his attitude towards money straight, it will help straighten out almost every other area in his life.”

A few examples of an “unstraightened” life:
  • love of money serves to deny worship where worship is due.
  • lack of understanding regarding debt causes us to be enslaved to our creditors.
  • greed causes us to be in conflict with others, including loved ones.
  • failure to have our financial house in good order means that it is difficult to be generous with a good conscience.
Westside believes that getting our attitude and heart right as it pertains to money will serve as a gateway to the Lord freeing us to serve and honour Him more fully. As as a result of being ‘straightened out’, we’ll thus be better positioned to both receive and extend more grace.
